Stephen's Butcher Shop


As another proud retail member, Stephen’s Butcher Shop originally began in 1927. Morley Stephen took over the business for his father and now he and his son, Richard, run the family business together. Open from March to the end of December, Stephen’s Butcher Shop offers top quality meats and products to local residents and cottagers from all across Muskoka. Specialty freezer orders are available to tide everyone over for the winter months.

At Stephen’s Butcher Shop you will be rewarded with friendly customer service. Fresh meat, fresh fish (every Thursday), complimentary products, local produce, baked goods, condiments, sauces, marinades, and more await you. Products from Belly Ice Cream, Milford Bay Trout Farm, Brooklands Farm, and other SAVOUR members are available for purchase at the shop. Located on 8 Harris Street in Port Carling, the store is also accessible by boat on the Indian River.

Stephen’s Butcher Shop offers certified angus beef, gluten-free gourmet sausage, natural all-beef patties, lamb, chicken, turkey, fish, seafood, live lobsters (order in advance), cold cuts, and much more!
