Deerhurst Resort to Participate in Field-to-Fork Tasting Event

Just under a month is left until SAVOUR Muskoka’s 2011 Field-to-Fork Tasting Event. Scheduled for Sunday, August 14th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, tickets are available for purchase online at www.savourmuskoka.com and will be hosted by Brooklands Farm (www.brooklandsfarm.ca) in Milford Bay, ON. If you are interested in an exciting, culinary experience then you won’t want to miss out. Enjoy a summer afternoon tasting fine cuisine and drink, meeting local chefs, farmers, and artisans with majestic farm scenery.

SAVOUR Muskoka is proud to announce one of the vendors at this event will be Deerhurst Resort, home of the 2010 G8 Summit. This fine resort is Ontario’s largest and is situated in Huntsville on Peninsula Lake. Executive Chef Rory Golden is truly an artist of his trade with skills that include ice sculpting with his creations used for a variety of special occasions, remarkably a banquet attended by Queen Elizabeth II.
